Nursery Admissions

If you would like your child to be considered for a place in our Nursery, please complete our Nursery application form that is attached on this page. You can visit our school office to pick up an application form in person, or please email the completed form to postbox@st-peters.walsall.sch.uk along with your child's birth certificate and baptismal certificate, if they have been baptised Catholic. This will complete the application process. If your application is successful, your child will be allocated a Nursery place to begin the term following their third birthday and you will receive a letter confirming this information.

We have three intakes throughout the academic year – September, January and April, which enables you the opportunity to enrol your child as soon as they reach the age of three.

Nursery funding

All children are entitled to 15 hours free nursery education. Our Nursery also offers 30 hours funded education for parents/carers who are eligible. For more information regarding eligibility for 30 hours please click the link below:

If you are completing your application for an all-day, 30-hour funded place, we require your 30 hour code, parent's D.O.B, parent's name and parent's NI to be supplied to the school office along with your application to complete your admission.

Should you require any further assistance, please contact the school office on 01922 710872, or email us at:

postbox@st-peters.walsall.sch.uk

Sessions

When applying please note which session you would prefer: morning, afternoon or all day. We will always strive to offer you a place for the session you have chosen, however, please note that this is dependant on the spaces we have available at the time of admission.

Session Times:

Morning: 8:40am - 11:50am
Afternoon: 11:50am - 3:20pm
All day: 8:40am - 3:20pm

If you apply for our 15 hour place (AM or PM), you may be able to book your child in for the all-day session, depending on our availability and numbers that day.

All bookings can be done through the SCOPAY app, and cost £16.58 per daily session. Please make sure this is booked at least a day in advance, and the teaching staff are informed on the day.

We reserve the right to refuse a session booking if we are oversubscribed for that day, and will issue a refund to the card used swiftly.
